Russian disinformation agents have a new propaganda talking point.
Instead of denying the link between Trump and Putin, Russian trolls impersonating Americans now suddenly claim it's good for America.

On Friday, February 28th, Trump betrayed Ukraine and outed himself as Putin's puppet on live TV.
Over a month earlier, on January 14, Russian trolls were already pushing the Kremlin propaganda talking point that it would be good for America, if Trump switched sides and cooperated with Putin.
On January 14, this article about Russia’s strange new talking point didn't get a lot of attention, because the idea seemed so absurd. Not anymore.
In retrospect, we can see that Russian disinformation agents already knew over a month earlier, that Trump was about to betray Ukraine. Because Trump takes his orders from Putin.
Since last night I’ve noticed dozens of Russian troll accounts on Bluesky spreading anti-Ukraine propaganda cartoons.
They’re all using almost identical comments claiming that it’s good for America if Trump abandons Ukraine and forms an alliance with Russia.
Here are just a handful of examples.
